Great mp3 Download Site

If you prefer to avoid the possibility of being sued by the heavy-handed RIAA for illegally downloading mp3s, I found a good site for legally downloading (mostly indie) music. Check out AudioLunchBox, which charges the same $0.99 that you pay on iTunes. However, you are allowed to download a normal mp3, unencumbered by the annoying DRM restrictions that iTunes gives you.

The site has a nice interface, although the search functionality could use improvement. Registering is quick and easy, and while they offer a variety of subscription and pre-pay plans, you can easily purchase a la carte. The entire transaction took me about two minutes, including the download.

While I don't like paying for music downloads, at least AudioLunchBox makes it as painless as possible.

Quote of the day

In the Jackson, MI Taco Bell, a man looks at the sauce packets: "Fire? I can't do that. I mean, I can do a lot of things, but when it says 'fire' on the outside, that just scares me."
